New research funding to benefit Alberta's entire sport horse community

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to launch Calgary Chair in Equine Sports Medicine

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - June 21, 2016) - On Wednesday, June 22, 2016 the University of Calgary's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) will launch the Calgary Chair in Equine Sports Medicine and announce two major donors that have supported the research program.

Research enabled by the new Chair will benefit the entire equine industry from show jumpers and race horses to Western pleasure and rodeo horses and draft horses.
