New School Safety and Security System Demonstration at the University of Northern Colorado

Decision Makers From University of Northern Colorado PD, Greeley PD, Weld County Sheriff's Office and Weld County School District Attended the Demonstration to See How New System Can Help First Responders in a Crisis Situation

WESTMINSTER, CO--(Marketwire - August 20, 2007) - Security With Advanced Technology (NASDAQ: SWAT) announced today that it demonstrated its new AgileMesh products, a line of wireless, mesh network video surveillance systems, at Grey Hall on the University of Northern Colorado Campus. Ten representatives from the Weld County Sheriff's Office, Weld County School District, Greeley Police Department, Greeley-Evans School District and the University of Northern Colorado Police Department attended the demonstration.

The products are rapidly deployable video surveillance systems that are strategically designed for first responders, including local police departments, fire departments and emergency response units, to immediately gain video footage from inside of a school during a crisis situation. This one-of-a-kind product allows first responders to view video images from fixed cameras already installed in schools and from mobile cameras that can be quickly deployed around the school. The images are transmitted wirelessly, securely and in real time to a patrol car and/or mobile command center.

"The products and presentation were very timely and interesting," said Wendy Rich-Goldschmidt, Chief of the UNC Police Department. "I can see considerable applicability of the products to a variety of venues and scenarios. As UNC continues to move toward comprehensive emergency response planning and preparedness, video surveillance will likely be an area we will want to augment."

"We are very interested in exploring the possibility of using this system to connect to some of our school cameras," said Commander Ed Haffner, Weld County Sheriff's Office.
