New Search Engine Launches at DEMO Spring 2012

World's First 'Search Browser' Speeds Up Searching by Combining Web Search With Web Browsing; The Integrated MySlikk Web-Sharing Platform Allows Searchers to Control, Collect and Share Their Search Results Like Never Before

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 18, 2012) - Slikk Inc. announces the launch of the world's first search browser, Using patent-pending technology, Slikk enters the web search arena with the introduction of several revolutionary search features. Foremost among these is the SlikkBrowse feature, which allows the user to open and browse websites within the search page. Imagine you need to search for information on a promising startup company. With current search engines, you would do a search for the company, and then open search results in multiple browser tabs in order to see those webpages. With Slikk, all you have to do is click the "open" button next to any search result, and the webpage opens up right inside the search page next to the search results.

"Until today, searching the web often involved having to open multiple tabs or windows, switching back and forth between them and the search page until the desired information or site was found. No more," says Slikk CEO Feivi Arnstein. "Now, users can easily open the links right there side-by-side with the search results, instantly seeing whether that site is what they're looking for. This also allows users to immediately compare various websites. Slikk is a totally new, unique search experience."

The SlikkWindow can also be maximized and minimized, allowing the user to check out each search result in full or half screen, and if desired, use the SlikkWindow as a browser window. The SlikkWindows work across all categories, allowing one, for example, to load a video in one SlikkWindow and a news story in another.

Slikk also introduces its MultiView feature, which allows the user to search and view different types of search results on the screen simultaneously. For example, web results for a search can be viewed on the left side of the screen, and video results for the same search on the right side. The user can choose between web, image, video, news, blogs and Twitter results. Slikk also saves the current setting so that both categories are automatically searched and displayed upon subsequent searches.

Slikk also takes collecting and sharing the web to a new level by allowing users to instantly save multiple search results to a personal online collection on MySlikk collections can include any kind of web content, and like Slikk search results, can be browsed right inside the MySlikk page. The collections can then simply be shared by sending someone the collection URL.

Slikk further integrates with the social media world with the Shareit feature, which allows users to easily share search results by Twitter or Facebook.

"For too long, web search has mostly ignored the social aspect," says Mr. Arnstein. "Slikk corrects this by closely integrating search with sharing. In addition, we have an active dialogue with our users to discuss and implement any comments and ideas they may have. Slikk is a paradigm shift."

The Slikk team has an intensive feature release schedule, with several additional innovative features being made ready for release over the next few months.

"The key here is features," says Mr. Arnstein. "We're not looking to reinvent the wheel, just to improve it immensely. gives you the search results you're used to, but additionally enhances them to make search faster, easier and more efficient."

Slikk Inc. is creating several additional web applications which, like Slikk, are based on the SlikkWeb concept and will offer advanced and ground-breaking features in their respective fields of web browsing and online shopping.
