New Searchable Share Your B.C. Online "Adventure Database"-From British Columbia Magazine

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 17, 2009) - Travellers have a new online resource to help them plan unforgettable trips to and around British Columbia—and the insider tips are all FREE. British Columbia Magazine's Share Your B.C. adventure database is a unique, fully searchable online tool containing hundreds of top B.C. experiences submitted by magazine readers and fellow B.C. travellers.

"We launched our Share Your B.C. adventure database to mark the magazine's 50th anniversary and to complement our Summer 2009 anniversary editorial theme, "50 things to do in B.C. before you die," explains Editor Anita Willis. "We knew that 50 was just a starting point, and that our readers would have hundreds of other great recommendations of things to do and see in B.C."

Users can search the database in several ways. Choose a region, such as the Okanagan, to review all activities entered for that area, or focus in on activities closest to a particular town. Or search by activity—say, paddling—to see recommended canoeing and kayaking destinations across the province.

Here is just one of the hundreds of exciting personal recommendations in the growing database:

More than 1,000 submissions have been published in the Share Your B.C. adventure database to date, and users are added new entries regularly. We invite travellers to visit to share their own top-recommended B.C. experiences. All eligible submissions will be entered into a monthly draw for a chance to win a one-year subscription to British Columbia Magazine, including four great issues and a beautiful wall calendar.
