New "Shell Win Fuel" Contest Rewards Customers for Using Any BMO® MasterCard® at Shell Stations

Customers Could Win $10,000 of Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines or One of 10 Prizes of Fuel for a Year

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 15, 2010) - The Shell Win Fuel Contest is rewarding customers who use any BMO® MasterCard®* for their purchases at participating Shell stations across the country.

Customers who use any BMO® MasterCard®* for purchases at participating Shell stations from September 13 - November 7, 2010 will be automatically entered for a chance to win a prize in the Shell Win Fuel Contest.  

One lucky contest winner will receive the grand prize of $10,000 of Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines, which help clean and protect critical engine parts against performance robbing gunk with the most advanced Shell technology designed to help improve engine performance as you drive. Entrants could also win 1 of 10 prizes of fuel for a year (Approx. Retail Value: $2,500). Customers may enter as often as they like and no purchase is necessary. The winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries.

There are even more chances to win in the Shell Win Fuel Contest. During the contest period, visit the Shell Virtual Station online at, where users may search around the station for useful tips as well as entry ballots for a chance to win a daily prize of $100 of Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines. Prizes will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries.

In addition, one of the Shell Passionate Experts, known coast to coast through Shell advertisements, will make several appearances at select Shell locations. During these events, the Shell Passionate Expert will be sharing their Shell product knowledge and expertise and will be encouraging customers to make the most out of their purchases by using any BMO® MasterCard®* to be automatically entered into the Shell Win Fuel Contest.

The Shell Passionate Expert will also be awarding instant prizes during the visits, such as $50 in Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines, to customers who make a minimum $20 fuel purchase. The Shell Passionate Expert's first visit will be:

No purchase necessary. Contest period open from Sept. 13, 2010 to Nov. 7, 2010. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest period. Skill testing question required. Entrants for the daily draw can enter up to three ballots total. Each transaction made with any BMO MasterCard at participating Shell Canada retail sites (including Beaver, Turbo and Payless locations) will receive an automatic entry into the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize draw.
