New Site, CollegeFundingFreedom.com, Offers Financial Guidance for Higher Education

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2013) - CollegeFundingFreedom.com, a new site created by president and founder of Studemont Group College Funding Solutions John McDonough, offers advice for parents worrying about how to pay for their child's education.

"Many of our clients come to us because they are concerned that they don't have a plan," he says.

"They're afraid of walking into a financial situation that they won't be able to safely walk out of. We provide a service that offers a plan for parents to have their children attend the college of their dreams while, at the same time, protect assets including savings, home equity and retirement funds."

As with retirement, which is the specialty of CFS's parent company Studemont Group, McDonough says the sooner parents begin to plan and save for college, the better. Tuition for just one year of college ranges from $20,000 to $65,000; for elite schools, the cost can easily shoot into six figures, he says.

"That's the first and most important question parents have, 'How much is it really going to cost me to give my kid a promising future' -- but the answer isn't necessarily a static one," he says.

"We coach parents on the following: how to strategically position their student so that the school of their choice wants them; how to get schools into a 'bidding war' against each other, thus offering the most money for that student; how to legally and ethically make changes to their finances, minimizing taxes and lost interest."
