New Sleeper Gold Corporation: Drilling Commences on Clover Property, Nevada

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 20, 2005) - New Sleeper Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:NWS) is pleased to announce the initial phase of the work program on the Clover Property is proceeding as planned with core drilling commencing this week. New Sleeper has committed to 2000ft of drilling in this first six-month program. The Clover Property, located about 18 km west of Newmont's Ken Snyder Mine, is situated along the northern margin of the Midas trough in Northern Nevada.

On July 19th, New Sleeper announced an option agreement with Atna Resources Ltd. (TSX:ATN) in which New Sleeper may acquire up to a 70% interest in Atna's rights in the Clover property.

The Clover Prospect is a low-sulphidation, vein-hosted, epithermal gold prospect with several targets that require follow up work. At the south end of the property, high-grade gold intersections from previous drilling (25.3 g/t over 9.7m, 7.9 g/t over 7.6m, and 10 g/t over 3m) were returned. New Sleeper's initial drilling is directed at testing the mineralized structures at depth below previous drilled intercepts. A second target in the north part of the claim package is the Jake Creek structural corridor and the occurrence of high-grade (30.9 g/t) gold in float.

Clover is underlain by mid-Miocene aged bi-modal volcanic rocks, on the western margin of the Northern Nevada Rift. These rocks are the stratigraphic equivalents to units that host bonanza grade gold veins in the Midas district. Altered rhyolitic volcaniclastic rocks exposed throughout the property contain anomalous gold (20-70 ppb) from both soil and rock samples.
