New Version of FoxT's Access Controls for Applications

Enables Seamless, Cross-Application Access Control Management and Speeds Deployments With a Pre-Defined Segregation of Duty (SoD) Library for Oracle Applications

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - Fox Technologies, Incorporated, (FoxT), a leading provider of comprehensive Enterprise Access Control Management solutions, today announced the release of BoKS Access Control for Applications - SoD, Version 5.3. The new release provides seamless, unified cross-application Segregation of Duties (SoD) management, and adds 138 pre-defined (SoD) conflict risks for Oracle Applications to the product's configurable risk matrix library, which includes rules for SAP.

"The new release continues to build on our goal of providing IT organizations with centralized, real-time, visibility into fine-grained user entitlements and continuous enforcement of SoD by adding the ability to automatically validate, monitor, and remediate user entitlements and role changes seamlessly across diverse applications," stated Dr. Feng Yang, Director of Product Development at FoxT. "And expanding our risk matrix to include pre-defined SoD rules for Oracle Applications further delivers on our vision of providing true cross-application access control management, and significantly speeds deployment for our customers."

BoKS Access Control for Applications-SoD provides unified management of conflicting access rights across ERP, legacy, and other packaged business applications. Automating enforcement of SoD conflicts enables IT Security and Compliance teams to ensure that employees are granted appropriate access rights and entitlements while reducing the time spent monitoring and managing compliance activities.

"With the new ability to monitor, remediate, and manage SoD violations for Oracle Applications, BoKS Access Control for Applications is among the few products in this market that can perform SoD monitoring and management for business functions that are distributed across multiple applications and instances... be it SAP, Oracle, or custom applications," said Subhash Tantry, CEO at FoxT. "This unique capability is extremely useful in complex application environments that have multiple COTS and customer applications."

The SoD functionality is part of FoxT's BoKS Access Control for Applications product line, which enables centralized management of access controls, authentication, and audit reporting across diverse applications.
