New Versions of Analyzer and Live Released

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - November 30, 2007) - WebSpy (ASX: WSY), a global software developer specialising in identifying and reporting on workplace Internet, email and network activity, including employee misuse, has released new versions of its most popular software product range, Analyzer, to its 6,000 international customers, distribution channels and strategic partners.

As the use of the Internet is now part of normal business operations, employees are finding the temptation of this engaging interactive medium hard to resist. With such common diversions as social networking, video-streaming, sports, travel, on-line games and seasonal online shopping sites it is becoming critical for organizations to monitor their Internet investment. In recognizing the needs of today's online savvy employees, more and more companies are now turning to monitoring and reporting products to promote responsible behavior. Rather than totally censoring non work related access, most employers are now realizing that providing a balance with limited but controlled social access leads to a more harmonious work environment.

This latest release of Analyzer, which supports Microsoft® Windows Vista, has a number of new features that help improve the integration into popular security products, such as Microsoft's Internet and Security Acceleration Server (ISA), helping customers to better manage and control Internet and email usage whilst maintaining the privacy of individuals. In addition there are enhancements to reporting formats, compression techniques, filtering and supported log formats.

WebSpy COO Lagis Zavros commented that, "The Analyzer products are perfect for customers wanting simple web or email usage reporting. For those with more complex security environments, we recommend our Vantage product range, released in January 2006, which has been exemplary in delivering real business value through its extensive Network Monitoring capabilities."

"Feedback from our customers has also indicated a need for real-time event information, to enable administrators to quickly assess and drill down to potential threats, and we have also addressed this area through improvements to our Live product which was also released this week," added Zavros. Live works in the background and displays alerts in an unobtrusive manner as Internet and email misuse occurs. The latest release of Live can now also be configured to create specific log files of all activity, alerted activity or activity for certain users or departments. The Vantage product can then be used to provide detailed or summarized reporting based on the chosen criteria.
