New Website Educates Patients About Murfreesboro Spinal Decompression and Natural Pain Relief

MURFREESBORO, TN--(Marketwire - Sep 21, 2011) - The Rutherford Clinic of Chiropractic in Murfreesboro announced that it has launched a new website, The new website is designed to educate patients about the benefits of chiropractic treatments and spinal decompression for naturally managing back pain and neck pain following an auto accident or personal injury. The website includes a number of resources to help patients learn about non-invasive treatments, including a chiropractic blog, online wellness library and spine simulator.

Dr. Wesley Stewart, a chiropractor with Rutherford Clinic of Chiropractic, announced that his practice has launched a new website, Designed to better educate patients about the benefits of Murfreesboro spinal decompression treatments and chiropractic, the site includes a wellness library, blog and spine simulator.

"The new website is a natural complement to our practice's mission to educate patients about non-invasive treatments," said Dr. Stewart. "As a chiropractor, I routinely see patients who do not realize that their upper back pain or chronic neck pain can be treated naturally, without depending on prescription painkillers."

The website's "Community Content" wellness library includes information on this history of chiropractic treatments and how adjustments and decompression therapy can relieve back pain, neck pain, migraines and headaches. There is also injury-specific information, such as how treatments can help patients recover from whiplash.

"We use a 'whole body' approach to wellness, which means we focus on the underlying cause for pain," said Dr. Stewart. "This approach to treatment is different from traditional medical care, which relies on prescription painkillers to 'cover up' pain rather than treating the underlying cause. The new website and wellness library does a great job explain the fundamental differences in these approaches to treatment."

The 3D spine simulator, a new feature on the website, allows individuals to view a 3D interactive model of the human body. The simulator highlights proper postures and shows the connections between the musculoskeletal system and different organs in the body while also explaining subluxation degeneration.

"Many of my patients do not realize how a single herniated disc can affect the entire body," said Dr. Stewart. "The spine simulator is a wonderful interactive tool to enhance education and awareness about the musculoskeletal system."

Individuals can learn more about wellness care and how to prevent injuries by visiting the chiropractor's blog or signing up for the free, bi-weekly e-newsletter. Each e-newsletter is tailored specifically to a patient's interests with varying topics, including women's health, exercise & fitness, diet & nutrition and children's health issues.

Individuals who sign up for the newsletter will also receive access to the "Members Only" content on the website, which includes video exercises for strengthening the spine and wellness lifestyle tips.

Prospective patients, who wish to learn more about what to expect during the initial diagnostic appointment, can visit the "New Patient Center" on the website. This center includes online forms, payment information, a virtual office tour, and information on the different stages of relief care, corrective care and wellness care.

"The goal with our new website is to provide educational resources so all patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment decisions," said Dr. Stewart.
