New Website Prep Eligibility Center (.com) Dedicated to High School Student-Athletes

Education Readiness Website to Provide Planning, Preparation and Eligibility by NCAA Guidelines

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - March 30, 2015) - Founders Corky Frady, president of Corksters LLC, and Tony Softli, former 15-year National Football League (NFL) Front Office Executive, have launched Prep Eligibility Center WebApp (PEC).

The goal of is to provide ongoing assistance to high school student-athletes and guide them through academic checkpoints, which keep them in good standing based on the newly adopted NCAA academic requirements for eligibility.

"We recognized that there is a massive piece to the eligibility puzzle that is currently not being met in all instances today," said Corky Frady, co-founder and president of Prep Eligibility Center. "A lack of funding, in many of the high schools in this country, limits the number of guidance counselors available to serve each and every student properly. Our vision with the site is to empower all student-athletes with a robust and cost-effective tool that keeps them on a road to success, based on their goal to play collegiately."

Once students have entered in their classes to the portal, the site will calculate the grade point average (GPA) for courses and give students the position they are in relative to the process. In addition, PEC has alerts in place to help student-athletes stay on track with a course of action; maintaining the proper mix of classes, timing and core academic requirements. The site also provides SAT and ACT sliding score capabilities, as well.

"We teach student-athletes, and their guardians that investing in one's future is the goal while education is the key," said Tony Softli, co-founder and vice president of Prep Eligibility Center." Our mission is to help every student-athlete achieve the opportunity of experiencing the collegiate level of competition through athletic or academic scholarships."

The program is most beneficial to students who register at the beginning of their freshman year and experience the program through completion based on the approved classes for all four years of high school, but may be entered at any time. PEC also offers a chat feature called "Sports Locker Room," where high school athletes from all over the country can connect.
