New Women in Consulting (WIC) Partner Program Offers Highly Targeted Way to Reach Key Thought Leaders and Decision Makers

WIC Members Enjoy Discounts and Benefits From Apple Computer, Office Depot, and Other Companies

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 20, 2011) - Women in Consulting (WIC), a collaborative community of professional consultants and small business owners, today announced the launch of its new partner program. Developed in response to increasing requests to partner with WIC at various levels, the program gives companies and professional organizations a powerful, efficient way to reach a highly targeted group of successful professionals and their extended client community.

"WIC is a dynamic group of more than 400 consultants and small business owners who deliver strategic recommendations, influence purchasing decisions, and provide thought leadership to more than 2,000 clients and their colleagues and employees," said Sue Hay, director of partnerships and alliances for WIC. "The WIC Partner Program is ideal for companies wishing to reach this niche audience of extremely motivated individuals and the companies they serve. And for organizations that want to specifically support women in business, this program provides a simple and direct way for them to do so."

The WIC Partner Program offers four types of partnerships: sponsorship, exclusive discount, in-kind, and affiliate association. The new structure will allow WIC to add to its existing roster of partners, which includes organizations like Alan Weiss's Society for Advancement of Consulting, Apple Computer, Coronado Insurance, Healdsburg Lodging Coalition, Marketwire, Office Depot, Women in Technology, and Zoomerang.

For WIC members, the partner program provides professional discounts and special offers on products and services to help enhance and grow their businesses, streamline operations, reduce expenses, increase profitability, and make day-to-day life easier. The significant discounts easily offset the cost of a WIC membership.

"The discount I received on my first Office Depot order through the WIC Partner Program paid for my WIC membership," said Avery Horzewski, president of WIC and AVE Consulting. "Plus, they delivered it to me for free, saving me the time and hassle of driving to the store."

For a complete list of WIC partners, including program details, and special offers, as well as upcoming WIC networking opportunities, meetings, workshops, webinars, and other events, visit the WIC website.
