New World Resource Corp.: La Juliana Drilling Underway

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 29, 2005) - NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

New World Resource Corp. ("New World") (TSX VENTURE:NW) announces that it has commenced exploration drilling on its La Juliana gold property in the Mulatos mining district, in eastern Sonora State, Mexico.

The current program will include at least 3000 metres of drilling using two drill rigs. Both rigs, a diamond drill and a reverse circulation drill, are now on site. The drill program will test targets that have been generated through soil sampling, geophysics, and trenching.

The La Juliana property covers 700 hectares in the Mulatos mining district, and sits six km to the northwest of the Mulatos gold deposit. Trenches at La Juliana have shown gold to occur at or near surface. Several geophysical anomalies correlate well with trenching and surface geochemical results, and will be high priority targets.

All exploration activities on the La Juliana project are supervised by Joan McCorquodale, P. Geo, New World's Vice President, Exploration, who is a "qualified person", as defined in National Instrument 43-101, and is responsible for the contents of this new release.
