New World Systems Attains Microsoft® Gold Certified Partnership

TROY, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 8, 2007 -- New World Systems, a leader in the public sector software industry, is now a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner, representing the highest level of competence, expertise and working relationship with Microsoft technologies. At the gold level, above the standard Certified Partnership, New World Systems has access to the resources and support needed to stand out in the marketplace, including a Technical Services Coordinator, access to the Partner Knowledge Base, priority listing in Microsoft Directories and other top-level benefits.

To earn this partnership recognition, New World Systems obtained multiple Microsoft competencies, passed in-depth software tests, received favorable references from customers and a number of New World employees earned Microsoft certifications in many areas.

"We are excited and proud to move up to this premier level of Microsoft partnership," said General Manager of Windows Solutions Consulting Sandro Viselli. "Our Microsoft foundation provides industry-leading reliability, security, interoperability and performance."

Membership in the Microsoft Certified Partner Program provides resources to New World Systems to develop and deploy robust solutions for public safety agencies and local governments on the Microsoft Windows® platform. The foundation provides lower cost of ownership through centralized administration and security and a familiar user interface that shortens training periods.

"Because the applications leverage the latest in Microsoft software architecture, technology investments are well protected," said Viselli. "Adopting industry-leading mainstream technology also provides widespread access to qualified technical resources."

The company obtained Gold Certified Partnership recognition in Microsoft's Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/Software Solutions and Data Management Solutions Competencies.

"Solutions competencies are an important way for Microsoft to better enable ISVs to meet customer needs," said Sanjay Parthasarathy, corporate vice president of the Developer & Platform Evangelism Group at Microsoft. "They allow ISVs to keep and win customers through their deep knowledge of solutions-based Microsoft platform technologies. Microsoft has a long history of working closely with ISV partners to help them deliver compelling solutions and applications to our mutual customers, and the Microsoft competencies are an important step in continuing to enhance vital relationships with ISVs worldwide."
