NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 06, 2013) - PrintingHouse Press, a premier provider of appellate printing and litigation support services, launched a new web portal encompassing all New York State Court of Appeals' briefs filed for the 2012 term and beyond. The PHP-NYSCA Brief Repository is designed to provide the legal community with universal online access to a searchable archive of New York State Court of Appeals' briefs. Access to the portal is open to all attorneys as well as support staff at law firms and corporate legal departments and is offered free of charge.
The PHP-NYSCA Brief Repository is live at PrintingHouse Press' website (www.phpny.com) and can be accessed with online registration. The portal features a two-level search function, in which briefs can be searched for by full or partial caption/case name. All briefs are hyperlinked, bookmarked and fully text searchable. In addition, users have the option to either view briefs in a display window or download the pdfs, as well as compose notes on each brief, and keep track of their search history. "The PHP-NYSCA Brief Repository is the proverbial 'tip of the iceberg' on the appellate landscape rising before us", comments Roy G. Nelson, Managing Clerk of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and a published author on the "Electronic Court Environment". "This is a meaningful tool to be included in every appellate practitioner's 'litigation arsenal' that will undoubtedly be developed further by PrintingHouse Press' talented team to offer user applications beyond the scope of the company's well-known appellate printing services," further comments Mr. Nelson.
PrintingHouse Press will maintain the PHP-NYSCA Brief Repository as a permanent archive for all future briefs filed with the New York State Court of Appeals. "We have always strived to provide high value services to the legal community while embracing the latest technological advances. Now that we have built on our already strong relationship with the New York State Court of Appeals, we are pleased to offer this new tool to legal professionals," states John Farrell, President of PrintingHouse Press.
