Newest Digital Dispatch System Enters Singapore Market; Q3 Results to be Announced on November 3rd

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 20, 2005) - Digital Dispatch Systems Inc. (TSX:DD) has won a contract with the ComfortDelGro Group of Singapore to deploy Digital Dispatch's flagship mobile computer, the iPilot 8000, to part of their taxi fleet. The contract, worth well over $1 million, which will be substantially earned before the end of the current year, marks the entry of Digital Dispatch's iPilot 8000 into the taxi market in South East Asia.

The iPilot 8000 is the third generation of computerized dispatch system for members of the world's second largest transportation company, the ComfortDelGro Group of Companies. An undisputed leader in adopting innovative products and services, the ComfortDelGro Group was the first to introduce luxury taxi services, credit traveling and computerized payment system.

"We needed a mobile data terminal that is flexible and expandable to meet the current and ever changing needs of the taxi booking business. The iPilot 8000 will significantly improve our operational efficiency," said Edwin Yeo, General Manager of Customer Contact Centre, Taxi Business, ComfortDelGro.

"A member of the group, CityCab Pte Ltd., has used both our first and second generation mobile computer products for years," said Michael Hryb, Vice President of International Sales for Digital Dispatch. "The fact that a technology leader like ComfortDelGro has now decided to deploy our third generation of mobile data terminals validates their confidence in our technology and in us as a key long-term technology partner. KoruCABS of New Zealand has also deployed the iPilot 8000, and with ComfortDelGro embracing this mobile computer, we feel confident that this product is going to help us gain more ground in the Asian market."
