Newforma Customers Gather to Share and Discover Project Information Management Best Practices


MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwire - Apr 21, 2011) - Newforma®, a project information management (PIM) software company connectingarchitecture, engineering and construction firms worldwide, today announced that it will host its first annual user conference, Nugget2011, for Newforma customers to share and discover new ways to leverage the Newforma PIM solution to streamline project delivery work processes, increase profitability and mitigate risk. The event, which is sponsored by Deltek, Trump Systems, NFS™ and smartsoftware, offers two days of knowledge sessions with both Newforma representatives and customers presenting on April 27 and 28 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown in Chicago, Illinois.

The event will kick off with a keynote address from John G. Miller, author of "QBQ! The Question Behind the Question," sharing insights from his decades of experience helping individuals and organizations make personal accountability a core value.

The two day agenda includes PIM best practices sessions presented by Newforma customers including Ron Heims, partner and director of technology at RDG Planning and Design; Brad Horst, principal and chief information officer at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineering (EYP); and Tim Rice, principal and the director of information technology at LMN Architects in Seattle.

In addition, Chad Kunkel, assistant project manager, and Susan McDowell, manager of construction technology applications both from Haskell, will co-present a case study about the design-build firm's first venture into true electronic review and approval of submittals using Newforma software.
