NewMarket China, Inc. Announces Joint Services Contract With Shanghai Crystal Information Technology Expanding Offshore Architectural Rendering Capabilities

Crystal Developed Full Motion Architectural Renderings for 2008 Beijing Olympic Venues and 2010 World Expo Venues in Shanghai

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- NewMarket China, Inc., (OTCBB: NMCH), the China regional subsidiary of NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: NMKT), announced today a contract with Shanghai Crystal Information Technology Co., Ltd. ( Crystal is a high-tech multimedia company, providing digital visual technology services to a wide variety of international customers. These services encompass 3D and 2D digital animation production with an impressive portfolio of architectural renderings including fully animated construction and urban planning videos.

Crystal has developed the full motion architectural renderings for all of the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues as well as the 2010 World Expo venues in Shanghai. While Crystal has certainly been the leader in the development of promotional materials for the urban planning in almost every major city in China, they have also worked on real estate development projects as far away as Africa, and in Dallas, TX as well.

NewMarket China and Crystal have entered into an initial one year contract to cooperatively provide Multimedia Outsourcing Services to customers in North America, Latin America and beyond. Crystal is one of the companies currently scheduled to attend the upcoming NewMarket China May 7-16 U.S. Road Show with the Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association (SMIA).

Last year, NewMarket Technology completed the independent public listing of its Chinese operations which expect to report over $20 million in revenue for 2006. NewMarket China has forecasted a 100% increase in revenue in 2007 to $40 million.

NewMarket China is working with the Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association to help member companies expand into U.S. markets. The SMIA is a member of the International Federation of Multimedia Associations (FIAM) and is the authority on the multimedia industry in Shanghai, with more than 148 member companies. The SMIA has extended its influence beyond Shanghai by networking with many other government organizations, media outlets and corporations throughout China. Beyond China, the SMIA has membership in associations and organizations in more than ten countries.
