NewMarket Subsidiary RKM Announces an Approximate $1M Outsourcing Services Contract Renewal With Bigott of South America

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2011) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) (OTCQB: NWMT) today announced the Company's South American subsidiary, RKM Suministros S.A. (, recently renewed its annual services agreement with Bigott of South America to outsource their entire helpdesk services for the fifth consecutive year. The one year services agreement is valued at $953K. Bigott ( is a more than 80-year-old, high-quality tobacco producer headquartered in Venezuela. Bigott controls 80% of the market share in Venezuela and markets their products to the public under the brands Belmont, Consul, Lucky Strike, Kent and Viceroy. Additionally, Bigott is a member of the British American Tobacco Group.

Last week, NewMarket announced that RKM had completed a Microsoft license sale to their existing client, Movistar (, in Latin America. Movistar is a division of Telefonica, S. A., a major telecommunications provider in Europe and Latin America. The $1.47 million sale was made in February of this year and is part of a three year agreement between RKM and its client.

RKM, an established systems integration firm servicing northern Latin America, is one of the largest Microsoft Large Account Resellers in Venezuela. RKM received the prestigious Associate of the Year in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions award at FOCUS 2009 as well as three prestigious awards at the annual meeting of Microsoft Partners in Venezuela last October, to include Services Partner of the Year.

RKM is scheduled to attend the upcoming 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference ( being held in Los Angeles in July and recently participated in Microsoft's Hosting Summit 2011, an exclusive invitation-only three-day conference in Bellevue, Washington.
