NewMarket Technology Greenfield Partnership Program to Lead Trade Mission to the Philippines Focused on Emerging Growth Opportunities

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - February 10, 2011) - NewMarket Technology, Inc.'s (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) (OTCQB: NWMT) Greenfield Partnership Program today announced a scheduled Trade Mission to the Philippines beginning February 28th focused on high growth business opportunities in the region. The Greenfield Program concentrates on early stage development of high-growth potential businesses in the world's emerging markets, to include Southeast Asia in addition to its focus in China, South and Central America and East Africa. Delegates include representatives from the Greenfield Partnership Program, the Small Equity Initiative, and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) (www.unisdr.org). The UNISDR is scheduled to join the trade mission to continue an initiative intended to incent the local entrepreneurial business community to pursue new enterprise opportunities that contribute to disaster reduction.

Yesterday, the United Nations General Assembly convened its first thematic debate on disaster risk reduction to encourage governments to take action and invest more in reducing risk and exposure to disasters.
