NewMarket Technology, Inc. Achieves $100 Million Milestone in New Outsourcing Business for 2009 With 250% PPS Increase Potential on Analyst Recommendation

Monday Webcast Scheduled to Review $1.42 PPS Speculative Buy Recommendation

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - October 16, 2009) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) recently announced it expects record sales in 2009 with the potential for $100 million in total contracts by year-end. In addition to the Company's ongoing business, NewMarket has publicly announced new sales contracts this year that, in total, exceed $73 million, the majority of which are long-term outsourcing contracts in line with the Company's new focus this year on shifting its revenue base from short-term, project-based contracts to long-term managed services contracts. One such outsourcing contract announced earlier this year worth $30 million with Beijing Chuangzhitongda Technology Development was signed through the Company's Chinese subsidiary and went into service last quarter. Another notable new outsourcing contract is a three year outsourcing agreement in Latin America with worth $33 million with WBA (Wireless Broadband Access) Telecommunications, S.A.

With the Company's milestone announcement yesterday that its subsidiary operation in China has signed a letter of intent to provide outsourcing services to Aoyuan Electronic Co. ltd in Dalian, China, for $36 million over three years, the Company is edging closer to not only reaching its $100 million milestone of total contract potential for the year, but exceeding it. NewMarket has operations in China, Southeast Asia, Latin America and North America and reported over $95 million in revenue for 2008 and has set a $100 million profitable revenue forecast for 2009.
