NewMarket Technology, Inc. Announces Over $73 Million in New Sales Year-to-Date

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - October 1, 2009) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) today announced that with the addition of recently signed sales contracts worldwide, the Company has exceeded $73 million in new sales contracts year-to-date. NewMarket has recently announced it expects record sales in 2009 with the potential for $100 million in total contracts by year-end. This year, the Company and its subsidiaries have focused on shifting the Company's revenue base from short-term, project-based contracts to long-term managed services contracts. In doing so, the Company's regional subsidiaries have notably signed two large, three-year outsourcing sales contracts, one in China worth $30 million and one in Latin America worth $33 million. Additionally, the Company has ramped up its South American Microsoft Solutions sales, announcing $5.2 million in total long-term sales this year. NewMarket has operations in China, Southeast Asia, Latin America and North America and reported over $95 million in revenue for 2008. The Company has reported over $43 million in profitable revenue for the first six months of 2009. Historically reporting increased revenues in the second half of the year, the Company has set a $100 million profitable revenue forecast for 2009.
