NewMarket Technology, Inc. Announces Three-Year Microsoft Licensing and Service Agreement Adding to $65 Million in Recently Announced New Contracts

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 4, 2009) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS : NWMT )
today announced the Company's subsidiary RKM IT Solutions has signed a
three-year contract to provide Microsoft licensing and consulting services
to Baninvest (www.baninvest.com). NewMarket and its subsidiaries are
currently focused on shifting the Company's revenue base from short-term,
project-based contracts to long-term managed services contracts. In recent
weeks, NewMarket has announced over $65 million in new contract sales for
long-term contracts. Last year, the Company reported $95 million in revenue
and for the first six months of 2009 has reported $43 million in profitable
revenue. Management anticipates accelerated revenue growth in the second
half of 2009 and through 2010 resulting from the recent long-term contract
sales.
Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) and Enterprise Software Advisor
(ESA) in Latin America
RKM is a Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) and Enterprise Software
Advisor (ESA) in Latin America and received the prestigious Associate of
the Year in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions award at FOCUS 2009.
Mid-Market and corporate customers in Latin America seek out the services
of LAR/ESAs when implementing large Microsoft-based IT projects. Through
this partnership with Microsoft, RKM offers high volume licensing,
specifically "Enterprise Agreement" (EA) and "Select" for companies with
more than 250 PCs and support services to large enterprises and
institutional customers.
