NewMarket Technology, Inc.'s Sales in China Boost 2009 $100 Million Revenue and Profit Outlook

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) has its financial results independently audited in compliance with SEC regulations. The Company's current financial reports are on file with the SEC and available for public review. The Company recently posted on its website a strategic update, on-demand Webcast hosted by Board Member Hugh G. Robinson, Retired Major General and Former Chairman of the Dallas Federal Reserve. The Webcast includes a review of the Company's $95 million in revenue in 2008, $100 million profitable revenue forecast for 2009 and an overview of recent Microsoft sales contracts that are part of $63 million in new business. Over $30 million of the new business contracts have been signed in China. Revenue from China was $17 million through the first six months of 2009 contributing $1.1 million of net income. Sales in China are expected to grow to $50 million in 2009.

Board Member Retired Major General Hugh G. Robinson

Mr. Robinson is a former Chairman of the Dallas Federal Reserve and a retired Major General with a distinguished career serving in the United States Army. Among other prestigious posts, Mr. Robinson served as President Lyndon Johnson's military aide de camp. In addition to his public service experience, Mr. Robinson's career has included extensive executive management experience with senior positions at Southland Corporation and City Place Development Corporation. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In addition to his role at NewMarket Technology, Mr. Robinson currently serves on the board of Carmax, Inc., the LBJ Foundation and the Better Business Bureau.
