NewsGator Expands Global Footprint to Reach European Market

DENVER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 14, 2007 -- NewsGator Technologies, Inc., the leading RSS company, today expanded internationally with the launch of NewsGator Europe and the opening of its European headquarters in Amsterdam. The European operations will be run by former Microsoft executives André Bonvanie, Onno Hektor and Remco Verheul.

NewsGator Europe will market NewsGator's Enterprise RSS and Private Label solutions. NewsGator's award- winning suite of Enterprise RSS solutions, including NewsGator Enterprise Server (NGES), NewsGator Enterprise On-Demand and SuiteTwo, help businesses improve internal communications and increase employee productivity. NewsGator Private Label Platform enables companies that publish or manage online content to increase revenues by combining rich syndicated content with social media and Web 2.0 technologies. These solutions will be delivered via an indirect channel of value added resellers (VARs).

The management team of NewsGator Europe consists of seasoned software sales, marketing and development professionals. Prior to starting NewsGator Europe, André Bonvanie was the founding partner of Atlantic Crossings, a communications strategy company running large-scale sales and marketing projects for major software and IT services companies. Onno Hektor was most recently responsible for the European channel business for Microsoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). After leaving Microsoft, Remco Verheul founded Craiton Testing, the only European certified Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) testing center, which helps customers worldwide qualify for the "Designed for Microsoft Windows" logo.
