Executive Thought-Leadership Roundtable Discussions

NewVantage recently completed a series of summer and fall executive thought-leadership events, featuring a select group of c-level business and technology executives, and noted business authors. The dinner and breakfast events held on June 16, July 20, July 27, September 22, and October 19 in Boston and New York, focused on general management topics including marketing strategy and customer alignment, business process optimization, and the business value of data.

"These dinners provide an exciting venue for front-line executives to exchange perspectives," noted Geoffrey Moore, a dinner participant, and author of the marketing classic Crossing the Chasm. "These executives are charged with leading Fortune 1000 firms and are faced with competition on many new fronts. The discussion is stimulating and the participants come away feeling that they have learned from one another." Moore's new book, Escape Velocity explores how Fortune 1000 organizations can reorient their organizations to meet a new era of competition.

Participants included chief marketing officers, chief information officers, chief data officers and line-of-business executives representing firms including AIG, Bank of America, Bank of New York, Cigna, CitiGroup, CVS/Caremark, Fidelity Investments, The Hartford, JP Morgan, Pioneer Investments, RBS/Citizens Financial, State Street Bank, TIAA-CREF, and Travelers, as well as thought-leaders in addition to Geoffrey Moore, including Tom Davenport, best-selling author of Competing on Analytics, and Erik Brynjolfsson, director of the MIT Center for Digital Business, and co-author of the newly published Race Against the Machine.
