Nexia Holdings Begins Reinvention Process

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - Mar 25, 2015) - Nexia Holdings, Inc. (OTC PINK: NXHD) announced today that its board of directors and controlling shareholders have approved an action to rebrand the company. The first step in the process has begun with the creation of a new name. Applications have been filed with the state of Utah and FINRA to change Nexia Holdings, Inc. to Sack Lunch Productions, Inc. We have reserved URLs, the name with the state of Utah, and are awaiting FINRA's approval and new trading symbol.

Richard Surber, Nexia Holdings' CEO, stated, "The new name is designed to reflect our new direction as an event management and entertainment company. The plan is to distill the company's objectives and messaging as an organization whose sole purpose is to provide creative family fun oriented events and entertainment to the world. I expect the entire 'reinvention' process to occur in 2015. The name and symbol change should be completed by the end of April 2015."

Mr. Surber continued, "Once the name change and new logo have been launched, the managing members of our majority owned event companies have agreed in principle that it would be appropriate to carefully co-brand Sack Lunch Productions with certain event productions and film projects. Exposure and branding at this stage in our development are of monumental importance in creating a robust liquid market. Positioning Sack Lunch Productions as a brand that is synonymous with events like Slide the City™ is anticipated to catapult the investment opportunity that exists to all participants that wish to further support an innovative company like ours."

Taylor Gourley, co-founder of Slide the City™, commented, "Sack Lunch Productions is a brand that I believe will resonate well with potentially millions of participants that: will Slide the City™, set a Lantern aloft into the night sky, watch one of our films, or enjoy the potentially countless other innovative events that our creative team may bring to market in the future."

Mr. Surber, further noted, "Slide the City's Facebook followers broke the 108,000 mark this week and seems to be picking up momentum. Some other big picture research, conducted by Dr. Joe Goldblatt, CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional), shows that spending for special events worldwide is $500 billion annually. The market is large, lucrative and awaiting expansion in diverse areas. Profits in this industry continue to rise, and in just a few years profit margins have more than doubled.
