NexInnovations Selects Indus Solution to Improve IT Service Management; Independent IT Services Provider Enhances Service with Advanced Scheduling System

NexInnovations employs more than 500 highly trained and experienced technicians to support their customers' IT environments and has one of Canada's most collectively experienced IT teams from Victoria to St. John's. NexInnovations is deploying Indus' solution to 500 employees across Canada, with a planned launch in early 2006. Indus' software enables dispatchers to deploy technicians based on set rules that can weigh objectives in the system, such as proximity to the customer, proper certifications and skill sets based on the job, and where the technicians' next service calls are. The system alerts dispatchers in advance if a job will not be completed by the required time so that the technician's next service call can be reassigned. Advanced analytics optimize the system by tracking field service technicians, customer requirements, travel times and cost.
