NexInnovations Selects Indus Solution to Improve IT Service Management; Independent IT Services Provider Enhances Service with Advanced Scheduling System

ATLANTA--(CCNMatthews - Nov 7, 2005) -

Indus International Inc. (NASDAQ: IINT), a leading Service Delivery Management solution provider, today announced the licensing of Indus' solution by NexInnovations Inc. to help improve its delivery of services to customers through better visibility into management of field technicians. NexInnovations provides technology consulting, infrastructure, deployment and support expertise to organizations across Canada. Striving for operational excellence, NexInnovations selected Indus' cutting-edge technologies for continuous process improvement. The contract further validates Indus' strategy to extend its footprint to clients in high-growth industries such as information technology services.

NexInnovations employs more than 500 highly trained and experienced technicians to support their customers' IT environments and has one of Canada's most collectively experienced IT teams from Victoria to St. John's. The company is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction through quality, reliability and accuracy. Using the advanced scheduling capabilities of Indus software will enhance NexInnovations' ability to deliver on guaranteed service level agreements by getting appropriately qualified staff with the right tools and parts to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

NexInnovations is deploying Indus' solution to 500 employees across Canada, with a planned launch in early 2006. Indus' software enables dispatchers to deploy technicians based on set rules that can weigh objectives in the system, such as proximity to the customer, proper certifications and skill sets based on the job, and where the technicians' next service calls are. The system alerts dispatchers in advance if a job will not be completed by the required time so that the technician's next service call can be reassigned. Advanced analytics optimize the system by tracking field service technicians, customer requirements, travel times and cost.

"With the new system features, customers are guaranteed that the right service technician with the right tools will respond to their call at the right time," says Dave Ekstrand, Vice President, National Services, NexInnovations Inc. "We're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and value, and Indus' Service Delivery Management software will help us continue to build on this tradition of excellence."

Indus software provides powerful tools to optimize the delivery of service in the field. Its real-time resource optimization engine and graphical scheduling dashboard make the scheduling and dispatching of workers easy and efficient. Indus' integrated software will empower NexInnovations with consistent real-time data and a comprehensive view of all work and resources, helping to better automate and optimize field technician schedules, equipment and materials. As a result, NexInnovations can enhance worker productivity, reduce costs and generate new revenue opportunities through service.

"Our solutions are specifically architected for companies like NexInnovations that are dedicated to competing and winning based on the quality of service they deliver to customers," said Greg Dukat, president and CEO of Indus International. "All markets are increasingly service-based, and our software functionality, our company's financial strength and our professional services capabilities make Indus the right partner for companies looking to achieve world-class service delivery."
