Sponsored by Intel, HGST, a Western Digital Company (formerly Hitachi Global Storage Technologies) and Kodak, the six NexStep events were held in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, San Jose, Toronto and Washington D.C. over two weeks. The shift to a series of regional events vs. a single conference helped increase participation by 60% vs. 2011.
