Nexsan Expands Board of Directors, Appoints Two Leading Corporate Veterans

New Board Members Expand Nexsan's Leadership in Long Term Disk Storage

THOUSAND OAKS, CA--(Marketwire - December 10, 2007) - Nexsan, a leading provider of energy efficient disk-based storage systems designed for the long-term storage of information, announced today that Arthur L. Money and Philip B. Livingston have joined its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Both individuals have served on a wide variety of corporate boards and bring to Nexsan a diverse skill set and hands-on executive level operational experience at major corporations and government institutions as well as young, formative-stage companies.

The appointments come at a time when Nexsan is deepening its long-standing commitments to long-term information storage and energy efficiency; both executives have extensive experience and unique insights into the industries and markets with a need for long-term storage.

Mr. Money has more than 45 years of management and engineering experience, primarily within the defense electronics and intelligence communities. He served as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence [ASD (3CI)] under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush from October 1999 until April 2001. Mr. Money previously held positions as the Senior Civilian Official, Office of the ASD (3CI); Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (CIO); Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Research, Development and Acquisition and CIO of the Air Force.

He currently sits on several U.S. Government advisory panels, boards and commissions and has served on nearly 20 corporate Boards of Directors along with nearly 30 corporate advisory boards. Mr. Money spent 23 years with ESL, Inc., a subsidiary of TRW, and served as the company's president from 1990-1994. The company was acquired by Northrop Grumman in 2002.

Mr. Livingston has a similarly diverse background. He is currently the Vice Chairman of Approva Corporation, the leading provider of continuous controls monitoring and audit software. He presently sits on the Boards of Directors of two publicly held companies, Cott Corporation and MSC Software. Previously, Mr. Livingston was Chief Financial Officer and a board member of World Wrestling Entertainment and President and CEO of Financial Executives International. In that role, he played a significant part in the formulation and passage of the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.

Mr. Livingston is a past member of advisory councils to the U.S. and International Financial Accounting Standards Boards (IASB and FASB). Prior to entering the business world, he played professional football in the National Football League and was a member of the 1981 Super Bowl Champion Oakland Raiders.

"Nexsan is honored to add two board members with such impressive backgrounds and credentials as Art and Phil," commented Philip Black, Nexsan's President and CEO.
