Next New Networks Partners With 'HotForWords' to Make Language Sexy

Hot Word Expert and YouTube Sensation Marina Orlova Signs With Next New Networks' Next New Creators Program

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 9, 2010) - Next New Networks, the leading next generation media company providing original Web series to millions of loyal, engaged viewers, today announced that language expert Marina Orlova, the creator, host and producer of "HotForWords," has joined its Next New Creators program. The Next New Creators program was designed by Next New Networks to partner with independent Web producers to bolster the distribution, promotion, packaging and monetization of original Web series.

Marina Orlova hails from Moscow and boasts two degrees in philology, the study of linguistics and the origins of words. Orlova burst on to the YouTube scene in 2007 with her show "HotForWords." The show now has more than 350,000 subscribers and more than 340 million views, making it one of the most watched shows on YouTube. She has caught the eye of everyone from The New Yorker to Cosmopolitan, The New York Times and The Associated Press. Orlova recently published her first book with Harper Collins, a division of News Corporation, called HotForWords, based on the popular Web series of the same name.
