This unique event, taking place on March 5th, offers attendees the opportunity to unite with their like-minded peers over a breakfast to be followed by Dr. Hogan's special presentation exploring personality assessment, leadership and organizational effectiveness. 

An internationally renowned authority on the role of personality in the workplace, Dr. Hogan is the author of more than 300 journal articles, chapters, and books including Personality and the Fate of Organizations. At this event, Dr. Hogan will discuss the link between personality and employee performance, focusing on how the nature of an individual's personality can impact overall organizational effectiveness. Expanding on this concept, Dr. Hogan will look at leadership in today's workplace, explaining how leadership shapes the performance and productivity of employees and how personality traits can indicate leadership ability.

Rounding out his presentation, Dr. Hogan will synthesize the connection between personality, leadership and the organization, highlighting how assessment data can be used to improve hiring practices, develop internal talent and increase competitive advantage -- key components of organizational effectiveness.

About Robert Hogan, PhD

Robert Hogan, PhD, is an international authority on personality assessment, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. Dr. Hogan is widely credited with demonstrating how personality factors influence organizational effectiveness in a variety of areas - ranging from organizational climate and leadership to selection, engagement, and effective team performance.

Dr. Hogan is the author of more than 300 journal articles, chapters and books. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and was McFarlin Professor and chair of the Department of Psychology at The University of Tulsa for 17 years. Prior to that, Dr. Hogan was professor of Psychology and Social Relations at The Johns Hopkins University. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
