NextPhase Wireless CEO Elected to Board of Federation of Internet Solution Providers of the Americas (FISPA)

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - NextPhase Wireless, Inc. (OTCBB: NPHS), a nationwide developer of WiMAX-ready networks and provider of advanced wireless broadband solutions, today announced that the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Robert Ford, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Internet Solution Providers of the Americas (FISPA).

Recognized as the largest national association in the U.S. representing independent Internet Solutions Providers, FISPA is a not-for-profit peer networking organization, established in 1996, whose members provide a range of services including Internet Access, Web Hosting, Web Design and an ever increasing number of other services, all of which use the Internet to facilitate a 'Solution.'

Leveraging the size and scope of its membership base, FISPA endeavors to equalize the competitive playing field and achieve greater economies of scale for its membership base by aggregating the collective buying power of its members to negotiate discounted products and service offerings on their behalf. Moreover, through a series of national and regional meetings and insightful webinars, FISPA members benefit from productive educational and networking forums where members and industry vendors can meet and exchange strategic business ideas, learn about emerging market trends and share perspective on prevailing opportunities and challenges confronting the Internet industry.

"I am very proud to have been asked to serve as a trusted member of the Board of FISPA, an organization that has well served NextPhase as we have worked to define the role our Company is now playing in the evolving broadband delivery market," stated Ford. "I look forward to collaborating with my fellow Directors to perpetuate and enhance FISPA's efforts to support the business interests of the more than 2,000 independent Internet Solutions Providers currently operating in this country today."

Ford joins other re-elected or newly appointed Board members who include Jonathan Lieberman, ISN Telcom; Dan Budd, Gorge Networks; Paul Tomes, WebNet/WorldSpice Technologies; Jerry Dunlap, ISDN; Michael Tague,; Sam Cook, Seimitsu; and Gabe Rincon, Computer Technologies Group.

Jim Hollis, Executive Director of FISPA, noted, "Each of our new and returning directors bring both unique and highly complementary skill sets, proven expertise and industry insight to our Board that should collectively help FISPA to achieve several important organizational goals and objectives in the coming year."

The first meeting of the 2008-2009 Board of Directors will precede the 2008 FISPA Invitational Regional Meeting to be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 in Orlando, Florida.
