Nextraction Energy Corp. Retains Sequoia Partners Inc. for Investor Relations Services

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 9, 2010) - Nextraction Energy Corporation (TSX VENTURE:NE) (the "Nextraction") announced today that it has retained Sequoia Partners Inc. ("Sequoia"), to provide investor relations and consulting services.

Sequoia will receive a monthly retainer of $3,750. The Company will also issue, as compensation to Sequoia, an option to purchase 200,000 common shares pursuant to the company's stock option plan and vesting over a period of nine months. The options are exercisable at the closing price of the Corporation's common shares on the day prior to the grant. The options and the contract are subject to regulatory approval.

"Nextraction is at an important stage in our development as we recently have established initial production flow rates and gas sales in both the Pinedale Anticline (Wyoming) and the Appalachian Basin (Kentucky and Tennessee) projects. The Company has terminated its previous Investor Relations agreement with Ascenta Capital Partners Inc.
