NextSentry Names New Vice President of Operations

Jeff Hooper Brings 15 Years of Strategic Operations Experience to Desktop Security Leader

SPOKANE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 16, 2007 -- NextSentry, the specialist in intelligent desktop security, today announced the appointment of Jeff Hooper as its new vice president of operations. Hooper brings an impressive track record of more than 15 years of experience in operations and management. As VP of operations, Hooper will oversee finance, accounting, human resources and all other aspects of daily business operations at NextSentry.

Hooper joined NextSentry from Paras Construction, Inc., a custom home builder in Spokane, Coeur D' Alene and Eastern Washington, where he was the CFO. At Paras Construction, Hooper was responsible for managing all accounting and financial functions for four related entities with combined revenues of $35 million. Prior to Paras Construction, Hooper was the controller for Remtech, an environmental remediation and general construction contractor in Spokane, Washington with revenues exceeding $12 million. Hooper has also held leadership roles in directing operations for other Pacific Northwest companies.
