NFL Arizona Cardinals Safety Kerry Rhodes Included in Pro Football Focus' 2012 All-NFC West Team

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 16, 2013) - Hot on the heels of a record year with the Arizona Cardinals, all-star safety Kerry Rhodes (www.kerryrhodes.com) scored a major victory by being included on the 2012 Pro Football Focus (PFF) All-NFC West Team. The honorary "draft" celebrates Kerry's best year as a leading NFL safety, having broken up six passes and nabbing four interceptions during his 13 games as a starter.

Each year, Pro Football Focus nominates individuals who show outstanding performance on the field in their given role, as well as their performance as a team player.

Joining Kerry Rhodes are fellow Cardinals, Calais Campbell and Patrick Peterson, who, alongside Kerry, have cemented Arizona's reputation as one of the best defensive teams in the league. The pick of 3 key players was a welcome omen to the team, who recently fired head coach Ken Whisenhunt and general manager Rod Graves after a disappointing season that ended 5 - 11.

"Thank you so much @PFF for including me on your 2012 All-NFC West Team," Rhodes tweeted to his followers, remarking that he was grateful for the nomination.

As a key member of the Cardinals, Kerry Rhodes has proven that he is committed to improving his performance on and off the field. The bar has been set high for the 2013 upcoming season, but Rhodes is no stranger to a challenge. All eyes are on Arizona and fans are very eager to see what he will do next.
