Ford is a serial entrepreneur that has founded and grown several innovation-focused companies and is recognized in the Retail industry as an innovator, thought leader, and successful executive. Rod Ford joins nGage Labs after his retirement from Merkle, Inc. six months ago where he had joined when his marketing technology company, CognitiveDATA was purchased. Prior to the sale of CognitiveDATA to Merkle,Inc., Ford's company was recognized by Inc. Magazine for five consecutive years as one of the fastest growing companies in America, and by Deloitte as one of the Technology Fast 500 for three consecutive years. CognitiveDATA invented new database engineering and customer intelligence science that allowed retailers to have a more perfect view of the activities of their customers. During his tenure with Merkle, he was SVP and General Manager in charge of leading the development of a new marketing database platform and led the vertical team in deploying customer marketing solutions for some of the largest brands in the U.S.
