nGenx Sees Strong Momentum and 300% Monthly Seat Count Increase Compared to 2014

Cloud Services Pioneer in Hosted Desktops and Applications Achieves Key Milestones in 2015 as It Capitalizes on the Billion Dollar Client Virtualization Market

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2015) - nGenx, a cloud services pioneer in the delivery of hosted workspaces, including applications, data, and desktops, today announced strong growth in Q2 and Q3 of 2015 as demand for its nFinity® nWorkspace™ hosted solutions escalate. The Company's monthly seat count growth rate increased 300% compared to the same time period last year, and the number of qualified partners joining the nGenx channel ecosystem expanded 43% with nGenx reaching the one thousand partner milestone.

According to market research firm, International Data Corporation (IDC), "Cloud is a new paradigm of computing that will shape IT spending over the next several decades -- the logical evolution of what IDC called 'dynamic IT' for years. It entails shared access to virtualized resources over the Internet. IDC estimates that cloud services spending will continue to grow at double-digit rates for the next few years, gradually accounting for a larger proportion of all IT spending."1

nGenx is experiencing a rapid increase in adoption of hosted workspaces as traditional desktop and server-based applications fail to meet the needs of the mobile workforce. Additionally, with hardware, software, and IT help desk costs remaining a financial burden for organizations, and productivity that is negatively impacted by static desktops, nGenx provides a fresh approach that lowers the capital and operational expense of implementing and maintaining traditional IT environments.

Factors driving the growth of hosted workspaces, including applications, data, and desktops in particular, as well as demand for the nGenx solution, include:

  • Increasing trend toward client virtualization as workforces become more mobile;
  • Greater number of applications capable of being hosted in cloud workspace environments;
  • Higher performing computing devices with faster and more reliable Internet connectivity;
  • Reduction in the complexity of desktop-as-a-service and cloud application deployments, and
  • Lower barriers to entry as a result of more affordable technologies.

nGenx and its partners are finding success in the market. To accelerate adoption, the Company recently strengthened its management team, bringing in key executives to support sales, operations, and business development. nGenx has also introduced compelling channel initiatives, resulting in a surge of new partners. As a result, Company growth metrics have been impressive and include:

  • Monthly end-user seat count increase of 300% in 2015;
  • 43% increase in the number of partners year-over-year, growing to 1,000 partners today. This includes 300 new managed service providers (MSPs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) signing in 2015;
  • 60% increase in sales team headcount to meet demand;
  • A sharp increase in international sales, which will be followed with further expansion in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and
  • ISV wins that include GoldMine, CUSI (Continental Utility Solutions, Inc.), and several others.

"After just a few weeks we have seen great acceptance of GoldMine Cloud powered by nGenx," stated Paul R. Petersen, VP & General Manager. "In addition to providing full operational support from quote to sign-up and billing for us, their multiple ISV relationships allow our users to add more than GoldMine to their desktop -- and this is a true value-add and strong differentiator from other pure SaaS offerings. Additionally, the team in place has been very responsive as we refine the program to scale for growth. For us, it was more than just clever technology -- we needed a true partnership."

"For years, the roadblocks to the hosted workspace market gaining traction were complexity and costs," said Frank Picarello, Chief Operating Officer, TeamLogicIT. "nGenx has removed these barriers and opened the floodgates to customer adoption. As an nGenx partner, we feel partly responsible for this success as our numbers have shown dramatic increases as well, with high growth rates and stable long-term customers who find significant value in the solution."

nGenx provides customers with an easy to use, enterprise-class desktop virtualization platform that simplifies IT and strengthens security by providing users with easy access to their desktop, software applications, email, and cloud-based data from any device. The technology is deployed through the nGenx channel ecosystem of partners and managed by administrators using a single pane-of-glass control panel. Users have access to hundreds of applications or can add their own applications to the cloud with ease using nFinity nWorkspace as the platform.

"With service providers now embracing hosted workspaces in a relatively untapped market, there are significant opportunities to focus on," said JD Helms, president, nGenx. "With the right team in place and a continued emphasis on building strategic relationships, the Company is on track to maintain its accelerated growth levels for the foreseeable future."
