NGEx Resources Inc. (TSX:NGQ) ("NGEx" or the "Company") reports that the private placement announced on January 14, 2013 has closed. The Company sold on a non-brokered, private placement basis, an aggregate of 10 million common shares at a price of Cdn $3.40 per share for gross proceeds of Cdn $34 million.
A 4% finder's fee is payable in cash on a portion of the private placement.
Net proceeds of the private placement will be used towards the Company's ongoing work program in Chile and Argentina as well as for general working capital purposes.
Shares issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to a four month hold period expiring on May 30, 2013.
