Ngrain (Canada) Corporation-Media Advisory: British Columbia Institute of Technology Transforms Trades Training with Next Generation 3D Technology

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 16, 2007) -

Attention: News, Assignment and Education Editors

As Canada's need for skilled trades workers continues to grow, BCIT is revolutionizing its trades program by adopting leading edge 3D virtual training technology through a partnership with Vancouver's NGRAIN Corp. Part of the BCIT Technology-Enabled Knowledge ("TEK") Initiative, the partnership will provide automotive, engineering, construction, and aerospace students with the ability to go beyond textbooks to interactive learning through 3D simulations. NGRAIN technology is proven to dramatically improve learning and information retention. This break-through program is set to further enhance the quality of BCIT's curriculum, and help students prepare for workforce requirements on a level unmatched by other education institutions.
