VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 24, 2006) -

NGRAIN jumps up five places to #13 on prestigious list recognizing Canadian companies for excellence in innovation, research, and business success

NGRAIN, provider of interactive 3D training solutions, today announced it has placed 13th on the Canadian Defence Review magazine's annual ranking of Canada's Top 20 Defence Companies. Moving up five places from last year, NGRAIN continues to make significant inroads with the Canadian Department of Defence.

"There were a lot of changes in this year's list, but NGRAIN continues to impress our panel. Our list reveals the companies leading Canada's strong defence and aerospace industry, one of the best kept secrets in the country," said Peter Kitchen, Editor-in-Chief at Canadian Defence Review.

The only ranking specific to Canada's defence industry, the Canadian Defence Review's Top 20 Defence Companies list recognizes Canadian defence organizations for excellence in innovation, research, and business success both at home and on the international level. The panel of judges includes editors and writers from the Canadian Defence Review with input from defence industry experts.

"We're certainly very excited to be listed alongside many illustrious industry giants. It's very rewarding to see our progress recognized each year by the defence community. We plan on maintaining our focus on delivering innovative training solutions to the defence industry both within Canada and internationally. This steadfast focus has created a lot of attention for us and our customers," said Paul Lindahl, President and CEO at NGRAIN.

NGRAIN also recently won The 2005 Great Ideas Competition at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Maintenance Symposium in Birmingham, Alabama. The Great Ideas Competition recognizes promising new technologies, processes or business practices that can transform the way the DoD maintains weapon systems and equipment.
