Niagara CA Elected District Association President

Darryl Teutenberg leads local Chartered Accountants

ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 6, 2012) - St. Catharines Chartered Accountant and prominent business leader Darryl Teutenberg, CA, has been elected President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario's Niagara District CA Association. The District Association is the CA profession's local presence and organizes activities that benefit local Chartered Accountants and the community at large.

In addition to helping to serve, represent and provide fellowship among local CAs, the District Association also helps bring the Institute's many programs to its members, while also organizing important community events, such as tax clinics for people with low incomes.

Darryl Teutenberg is a General Practice Partner with Durward Jones Barkwell & Company LLP in the firm's St. Catharines office. Darryl qualified as a CA in 2001, after graduating from Brock University in 1999 with an honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. He was admitted to partnership in 2007 and provides accounting, assurance and financial consulting services to businesses and their owners in a wide range of industries. Darryl is actively involved in the Niagara community and is also a board member of the Niagara Construction Association, the Bob Gale Recreation Fund and Hospice Niagara's Planned Giving Fund.
