NIBCO Accepting "Cadets" for 2010 Fall Radiant Academy

ELKHART, IN--(Marketwire - September 13, 2010) -  NIBCO will host its Fall Radiant Academy beginning October 11, 2010, at its PEX manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Ohio. Each year, NIBCO offers several opportunities for training to meet the growing demand for radiant heating systems. The academy is free and is ideal for wholesalers, designers, engineers and contractors, but space is limited so early registration is recommended.

"Contractors have seen a dramatic rise in the number of homeowners asking about radiant heat," said General Manager, NIBCO® PEX Piping Systems, Randy Doering. "In order to stay competitive, these contractors must learn about the many benefits of using radiant heat and how to incorporate it during the construction process."

Topics covered during the October Radiant Academy include: 1) Radiant Heat & its History; 2) System Types & Components; 3) How to Design a System; 4) Hands-on Installation Experience; 5) Pre-engineered Panels; 6) FREE Design Process; 7) New NIBCO Radiant Products and 8) PEX Manufacturing Process along with Factory Tour.

Attendance at the NIBCO Radiant Academy is free (room and board is provided; transportation to Ohio is not included). Attendees will learn about design concepts and components of a radiant system, and will receive practical hands-on experience which can be incorporated into real world installations.
