nimbit Adds E-Ticketing to Leading Retail Platform for Independent Musicians and Labels

Latest Service Expands "Online Merch Table" to Allow Artists to Further Control Their Brand

FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwire - August 21, 2007) - On the heels of the June debut of its "Online Merch Table" (OMT), nimbit, inc., an emerging leader in direct-to-fan commerce solutions for independent bands and record labels, today unveiled a powerful, highly flexible e-ticketing solution for bands and venues. With this feature, bands can make an e-ticket available for purchase through the show calendar on its Web site as well as through the OMT, a portable sales widget that can be deployed virtually anywhere on the Web.

nimbit's direct-to-fan solution now delivers MP3s, CDs, DVDs, t-shirts, merchandise and e-tickets in a single-checkout experience. The system makes selling tickets economical, with a low $1 service fee, and allows sales right up until 12 hours before a show. Fans who purchase a ticket are placed onto a will call list that is automatically generated and sent to the venue on the day of the show. Proceeds from sales can be automatically split according to contract terms and paid out separately to the club and the band.

Additionally, nimbit plans to offer a similar service specifically for small and mid-sized venues later in 2007.
