Nimble Storage Adds Key Members to Its Executive Team in Support of Global Expansion


SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 21, 2013) - Today Nimble Storage, the leading provider of flash-optimized hybrid storage solutions, announced the appointment of Paul Whitney as vice president of human resources, Stacey Cornelius as vice president of operations and Carolyn Crandall as vice president of corporate and field marketing. Each has a successful, proven track record and will be responsible for helping execute Nimble Storage's global expansion.

Paul Whitney
Prior to joining Nimble Storage, Whitney held senior human resource positions at Ascential Software, Portal Software (acquired by Oracle), Infinera and DataDirect Networks. At Infinera, Whitney played a critical role in growing revenue to more than $450 million annually and was part of the executive team that took the company public in 2007.

Stacey Cornelius
Cornelius brings 17 years of experience and will be responsible for all aspects of order management, supply chain, manufacturing and logistics. Prior to joining Nimble Storage, Cornelius was vice president of global planning and logistics at SunPower. Prior to SunPower she spent 14 years at NetApp, where she was employee No. 128, during which time she helped the company go through its IPO to become a $3 billion company.

Carolyn Crandall
With 25 years of proven track record, Crandall is an acknowledged expert in marketing, sales and channel best practices. At Nimble Storage she will be responsible for driving company brand awareness and visibility. She will also create worldwide marketing programs to accelerate revenue, build out enablement programs to fuel growth with partners, and establish robust social media and customer community programs. Prior to joining Nimble Storage, Crandall served as vice president of worldwide marketing at Riverbed. Before joining Riverbed she held vice president roles with Seagate and Juniper Networks as well as positions with Cisco Systems and National Semiconductor.
