"The Internet2 NET+ initiative is about creating and sustaining value for the research and educational community in their collective use of cloud services," said Shelton Waggener, Senior Vice President, Internet2. "By establishing a unified, integrated portfolio of cloud and trust solutions, blending both commercial services and community offerings, Internet2 makes these available via the advanced Internet2 Network. "Since launching D2L in January 2008, we have seen increased adoption by faculty and requests from students that all their courses have an online course site," said John Savery, Director of Instructional Services, University of Akron.
