Nissan Proves Most Popular Used Car Manufacturer by Desperate Seller Website Visitors During July 2011

One of the UK's Premier used car advertising websites, Desperate Seller, revealed in its latest monthly report that Nissan was the most viewed car manufacturer by website users during July. With over 5000 Nissan models currently advertised through the site, the Nissan Navara has proven to be the most viewed model.

In third place, the Nissan Micra Convertible covets 4.15% of the Nissan 'share' of view requests, reflecting a seasonal bias for convertible models with the economical and reliability factor yet again appearing to play an important role in used car purchases during this period.

With previous Desperate Seller reports citing BMW as the most searched for used car manufacture on the site, July 2011 has seen the perennial favourite relegated to second place, with Nissan accounting for 3.57% of all car manufacturer views by website visitors, and BMW accounting for 3.29%. Although this small but significant margin could indicate a wider shift in interest away from the prestigious German car manufacturer's executive offerings, Desperate Seller have yet to speculate whether the demotion to second place appears to be a trend that is set to continue.
