Nitro Petroleum, Inc.-To Become an Operator in the State of Oklahoma

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(CCNMatthews - May 7, 2007) - Nitro Petroleum, Inc. (OTCBB:NTRO) -

Nitro Petroleum, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed all necessary paperwork required with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in order to become an Operator in the State of Oklahoma. Nitro will be posting a $25,000 Plugging Bond within the next ten days which will allow the corporation to purchase, lease, drill and operate its own wells. This will allow Nitro to control overhead and operational costs, which increases bottom line profitability.

Purchase contracts are also currently under review by Nitro on the HoCo, Inc. acquisition. If successful, Nitro Petroleum will be purchasing revenue production in the State of Oklahoma that will give it a solid foundation. Information on revenue production on the HoCo acquisition will be released in an up coming press release.
