Nitto Tire to Present Florida Georgia Line's 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour

The Maker of the Grappler Family of Truck and SUV Tires Showed Country Music Fans How It Rolls When It Unveiled the All New Ridge Grappler Tire on a Custom Truck Inspired by Florida Georgia Line at CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee

CYPRESS, CA--(Marketwired - June 28, 2016) - Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc., a leading manufacturer of off-road and street performance tires, has announced that it has become the presenting sponsor of Florida Georgia Line's 2016 Dig Your Roots tour. Not only will Nitto be hitting the road with the Diamond-selling country duo, but it has also built a special Florida Georgia Line-themed vehicle to introduce its newest light-truck tire -- the Ridge Grappler.

Dirt roads and four wheel drives are a staple of country music and the lifestyle that inspires it, as Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line can attest. Not only are these recurring themes in many of their songs, but both artists also have their own customized trucks. This is what makes the group's 2016 tour the perfect launching point for Nitto's latest addition to the Grappler lineup.

"We couldn't be more excited to be the presenting sponsors of Florida Georgia Line's 2016 tour," said Stephen Leu, Brand Publishing Manager for Nitto Tire. "Country music and trucks go hand-in-hand and we couldn't think of a better way to launch the newest tire in our popular Grappler lineup."

In addition to sponsoring the concert series, Nitto has also built a special Florida Georgia Line truck that was unveiled at the CMA Fest show in Nashville, Tennessee on June 11th, 2016, giving attendees an exclusive first look at the all-new Ridge Grappler. Fans of Nitto Tire and Florida Georgia Line will also have a chance to enter a drawing to win this special truck at each of the tour's stops or online for a giveaway at the end of the year.

"Being truck enthusiasts ourselves, we are thrilled to partner with Nitto Tire for our tour," says Tyler Hubbard of FGL. Brian Kelley continued, "Getting our own FGL inspired truck is incredible! We are honored and can't wait for one of our fans to drive away in it."

History-making duo Florida Georgia Line recently became the first ever Country act to achieve RIAA's DIAMOND certification as their breakout chart-topper "Cruise" surpassed 10 million copies sold. In their relatively short career, FGL has achieved 10 #1 hits collectively as artists and songwriters with the PLATINUM-certified ANYTHING GOES (Big Machine Label Group) fueling five consecutive chart-toppers -- PLATINUM "Anything Goes," "Sippin' On Fire" and "Sun Daze;" 2X PLATINUM "Dirt" and GOLD "Confession." The 2016 ACM Awards saw the pair take home their third consecutive honor for Vocal Duo of the Year. In addition, they have won three consecutive CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year and three consecutive CMT Artists of the Year honors, among numerous other accolades from the ACMs, AMAs, CMT and Billboard. FGL has skyrocketed to stardom becoming the only artist in history to join Brooks & Dunn in achieving four back-to-back, multi-week #1 singles; breaking the record for longest #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, and having sold nearly 26 million downloads and over 3.5 million albums worldwide to date. In 2015 alone, the group's ANYTHING GOES TOUR sold an impressive 1.5 million tickets, and they have just embarked on their headlining tour, DIG YOUR ROOTS through the end of 2016. Their highly anticipated third studio album DIG YOUR ROOTS will release August 26 and depicts an evolution in both their musical and personal journeys. FGL has given fans a taste of the new music with the lead single "H.O.L.Y.," written by hit makers busbee, Nate Cyphert and William Larsen, and produced by the award-winning Joey Moi. Commanding the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart for the last six weeks, the song marks their 11th consecutive Top 10 hit as artists at Country radio. The music video was shot at The Twelve Apostles, just outside of Melbourne, Australia and their wives make a cameo in the song about love's salvation. Taking their undeniable songwriting skills to the next level and discovering new talent, FGL formed publishing company Tree Vibez Music. For more on FGL, visit
