No Tuition Educational Tool: The Summer School for Entrepreneurs Telesummit

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 13, 2010) - This week entrepreneurs can participate in The Summer School for Entrepreneurs Telesummit, a no-cost, first-of-its-kind series of calls with over 21 experts who are accomplished 6- and 7-figure business owners and leaders in their fields. These experts will share challenges, experiences and expert advice on a broad range of topics, including the newest approaches to marketing, social media, branding, the essential mindset of successful business owners and much more.

Developed by Brian Stark, Paige Stapleton and Carrie Greene, the telesummit is a resource for entrepreneurs who are ready to expand their knowledge and grow their businesses exponentially. "When we started to create this telesummit, we asked ourselves, 'What do we wish we had known when we started our businesses? What pitfalls would we have wanted to avoid and what information would we have wanted to have that would have catapulted our progress?'" says Stapleton of her and Stark's first conversation with Greene. "Then it was just a matter of pulling together a truly diverse group of experts who would be willing to be vulnerable enough to share their experience and expertise in a way that other businesses owners and aspiring business owners could really relate to and apply to their own business," adds Greene.

The impressive list of experts and business leaders spans many fields and includes:

  • Master Success Coach David Neagle and Helping Profession Expert Suzanne Evans;

  • Business Success Coach/EFT Expert, Pamela Brunner;

Stark, Stapleton and Greene provide the following tips for entrepreneurs to use when speaking with potential clients:

"- Become their advocate -- instead of envisioning potential earnings, see them as your partner. Believe that if they work with you, they can solve their problem or reach their desire.

- Help them see their own potential -- What do they want? If they had it, what would that look like? How would that affect the rest of their life? Help them get as clear and tangible as possible.

- Use their words -- Reflect what they are saying back to them. Use the words they used to articulate their dream.

- Don't decide before they do -- You don't know another person's true situation, motivation or experience. Don't begin the conversation knowing the outcome. Let them decide.

- Realize your time is valuable -- When you're late, your self-esteem can suffer, you can lose money, feel stressed and harm your reputation. Schedule your time "backwards" to ensure you have ample time."
